I just finished quilting this gorgeous red and cream quilt for a customer. It is made with the French General fabric line. I call it the Red General. I just love the way it quilted up! I took some pictures of it today before I call the customer to tell her it is ready for pickup. I just love the way the sunlight picks up the quilting texture.
Today we celebrated my husband's birthday. I made a nice roast beef dinner with roasted onions and heirloom carrots, mashed potatoes, steamed green beans, homemade gravy and coleslaw. Finished it off with a piece of cake.
He really enjoyed it.
Happy Friday!! I quilted this gorgeous quilt last week for a local Quilt Shop, The Cotton Harvest in Seaforth, ON. I just love this quilt. I purchased the pattern so I am definitely going to make one for myself. I plan on hanging it on the wall in my upstairs stairwell. She has kits for sale too.

Pancake Tuesday here in Canada so I made my scratch recipe for pancakes and we had sausages with them. They were absolutely delicious with butter and real maple syrup.
I just finished binding this scrappy red, cream and tan quilt about 5 am this morning. I made the top last year and I snuck it in to be quilted last week between customer quilts. I love how it turned out. Red is my all time favourite colour. This quilt is for me :) So glad it is finally finished!!

Good morning Peeps. I hope everyone is enjoying their Sunday morning. A little snow here today. I am making yeast rolls and I have the dough rising in my kitchen and it smells amazing. I changed up my kitchen centrepiece this morning so I am ready for V Day.

I just finished quilting this gorgeous Christmas Quilt. It is a customer's quilt and she didn't need it until after Christmas. So she will be able to enjoy it next Christmas. I love it so much that I think I will make one for our bed. I am posting some pictures of this beauty. I quilted it with lots of texture.
A wonderful Christmas dinner was enjoyed last night. Dinner for two by candle light. The was my centrepiece on the table. Looking forward to the leftovers tonight. Turkey, stuffing, cranberry sauce, turnip and carrots, mashed potatoes and gravy, fresh rolls and butter and English Trifle for desert. We also enjoyed a glass of red wine with dinner.

Good Monday morning! The weather has been gorgeous here in Southern Ontario for about a week now. T shirt weather for sure. We have been getting lots of things done outside that we didn't think we would get to. My vegetable garden is all cleaned out and ready to rest for the winter until I plant new in the spring. I picked some flowers from garden this morning. I can't believe there are some still blooming. Here is a couple of pictures of what I picked. A nice display for my kitchen.
HAPPY HALLOWEEN everyone! A blue moon too........so much fun! I have my "Costume Makers' Ball" quilt hung over my bench to celebrate the day. A chilli day here in Ontario, but it is supposed to warm up next week. We even had a few snow flurries yesterday.
Good morning! The corn harvest is well underway this year, leaves are falling off the trees, and I have been doing lots of quilting. Here is a picture of this King size quilt I quilted for one of my customers. It is constructed using half square triangles in scrappy blues and creams. I love how it turned out.
