QUILTING TILL THE COWS COME HOME

Happy Saturday everyone. We sure got a lot of rain overnight. 2 !/2 inches and it is still raining today.
I am hoping to get caught up on quilting customer quilts that I have a pile of. No sooner they go out and more come in. I just hope I get some time to quilt some of my own, I have 3 of my own to get done. I am hoping to get my shop back open again this fall. I am sure missing it. I just got my second shot of the vaccine this week and it knocked the crap out of me. I was flat out for 12 hours. Fever, body aches, fatigue, you name it. So glad it is over.
Just thought I would post a picture of this quilt I quilted for a customer. It was one my favourites. The last picture is the back, she pieced it and I loved it. It can be reversed on her bed.
Hope you all have a great weekend.

Blessings

NEW FAMILY MEMBER

Good afternoon. The clouds are rolling in and I can hear thunder in the background. Hopefully some much needed rain. We got our hay off yesterday so it can rain all it wants now.
I wanted to post some pictures of our new family member who arrived last night. He is making himself right at home and fitting in well. Coriander just loves him. It is so nice to have some colour back in the barn again.

QUILTING

Lots of quilting going on these days. I love this quilt I just quilted for a customer. It turned out great.
I just LOVE free motion quilting. My husband and I went out this morning to the Garden centre and got some more herbs for my garden and a few more perennials. Got some delicious strawberries and asparagus and we'll be enjoying that for dinner tonight. We were lucky to have a nice rainfall overnight last night and all the gardens look great. Tomorrow Hay will be cut.
I hope you all are having a great day.
Blessings

GARDENS

Hello everyone! I have been so busy working away at quilting and gardening that I haven't posted much.
I have been gardening in the morning and quilting in the afternoon. It is just nonstop. Anyway, I took a picture of the garden in front of my porch this morning. I get so much pleasure from my gardens. The vegetable garden is all planted and we just need some rain to get it to start growing. Our hay will be coming off too in the next week or so. I'll need all of my muscles for that.

I hope you are enjoying this warmer weather.
Blessings
