Good morning everyone.
A sunny day here in southwestern Ontario.

FIRST CUT HAY IS DONE
Good morning friends.
Pretty darned hot here in southern Ontario and that means haying season. My husband took this picture of me yesterday driving the tractor and running the baler. Thankfully the first cut of hay is in the barn. Love the smell of fresh cut hay. Hoping for rain to get a good start on the second cut growing. Have a great week everyone!

GARDENING
Happy Weekend everyone! I have dedicated the first 3 hours each morning to my gardens. I go out at 6 am and garden until around 9 before it gets too hot.
Just put in some new plantings at the front of the house and my husband got some edging done on the side.

GROCERY SHOPPING
Things are getting stricter in the grocery stores these days. Had to get a picture of this. This was this morning.
Suits me fine........I know it hasn't been handled by as many as it could have been. I wash everything as soon as it comes home anyway. My hair is getting much longer. I'm wearing my crow mask too :)

SANTA QUILT
Seeing we got a whole bunch of snow overnight, I thought I would post one of the latest custom quilting I did.
I thought it would be appropriate today.
Hope you are all doing well.
Blessings.

SNOWY SATURDAY
Greetings everyone. Snowy here today so I did some long arm quilting this morning and some cleaning and vacuuming. It was too cold for gardening. It is supposed to warm up by the end of next week. I started cutting and piecing a Halloween Quilt that I bought as a kit last fall. This one is called "Costume Maker's Ball". I think I'll have fun with this one.
I hope you all have a great weekend.

VINTAGE NINE PATCH
I just finished this quilt up this morning. It is called Vintage Nine Patch by Primitive Gatherings. It is wool applique on cotton. I started it 7 years ago, so I guess it was time to get it finished. I am having it hand quilted. I think it would lend itself to hand quilting vs machine quilting.

APPLE PIE
Happy Saturday everyone! I was out the door this morning at the crack of dawn and went grocery shopping. I love how they have the 7 am opening for seniors to shop for the first hour. Our apple orchard up the highway opened up for curb side pick up this week so I got some nice apples to make a pie.
I hope everyone is staying safe during these scary times.

VEGETABLE GARDEN 2020
Good morning everyone! I hope everyone is fairing well due to all of our new restrictions. I sure hope this will be over soon so we can enjoy the way of life we had not long ago. I've been busy planning our vegetable garden for this year and I've ordered some seeds. I plan on doing lots of canning and freezing the harvest this year. Who knows when we will all get back to our jobs. Gardening is a great way to spend the days and it is very rewarding to say the least. Have a great day everyone!
Blessings

HOME MADE BREAD
Made some home made bread today. It was the only thing I needed, so instead of going out the store, I made my own. I hope everyone is staying safe during these trying times. Stay home and if you have to go out, make sure you practice social distancing.
Have a great weekend.

DYEING FOR SPRING
Good afternoon everyone. I just can't wait for Spring to get here and get the Shop open for the season.
I thought Blue would a great colour to Dye for this month as everyone seems to have the Winter Blues this month. This should cheer me up.
