I don't usually post pictures of my quilts until they have been quilted and the binding is on, but I just love this one. I finished piecing it today. It is a pattern by Kim Diehl called Twilight Hopscotch, from her book Simple Comforts. I used red and cream Civil War fabrics.
Can't wait to quilt it.

Beautiful! I have recently gotten into quilting and mostly do smaller projects like table runners and wall hangings... but I can't wait until I can make something like this! Fabulous job and I love your choice in fabrics!
ReplyDeleteYour quilt is gorgeous! I recently took a beginners quilting class and made a table runner. I know I am hooked. I want to make a few more runners before attempting a quilt, but that is my dream one day to make a quilt. I would be proud to be able to make a quilt like yours, I admire your talent. hugs, Lecia
