I just thought I would take a few pictures of some of the flowers in my garden. It has been so hot and dry here in Ontario that they need constant watering. This morning I was out in the barn at 5:30 and I heard the first attempt of one of our Roosters trying to crow. I didn't know what the noise was at first, I thought something had gotten into the chicken coop. I went and took a look and I saw the little guy trying to crow for the first time. It was actually an awful sound. It turns out we have 4 roosters. We bought 24 laying hens and they were supposedly sexed when we got them but I think someone was sleeping on the job!
I planted some herbs in this old wash tub. Orange Thyme, Rosemary, & Sage |
Some Shasta Daisies. |
Echinacea (Purple Coneflower) |
Hydrangeas are gorgeous this year |
Orange Lillies |
So very pretty!

GORGEOUS Janet!! The hydrangeas, though, are my favorite....wish they grew better here. Love the bee skep on the post too....It's been very hot and humid here as well - and DRY....It finally cooled down the past few days, but still no rain. After record rainfall mid-June, we've had nothing since. Praying and hoping....for the both of us! Happy Monday! Smiles & Hugs ~ Robin
