APPLE PIE

Happy Saturday everyone! I was out the door this morning at the crack of dawn and went grocery shopping. I love how they have the 7 am opening for seniors to shop for the first hour. Our apple orchard up the highway opened up for curb side pick up this week so I got some nice apples to make a pie.

VEGETABLE GARDEN 2020

Good morning everyone! I hope everyone is fairing well due to all of our new restrictions. I sure hope this will be over soon so we can enjoy the way of life we had not long ago. I've been busy planning our vegetable garden for this year and I've ordered some seeds. I plan on doing lots of canning and freezing the harvest this year. Who knows when we will all get back to our jobs. Gardening is a great way to spend the days and it is very rewarding to say the least. Have a great day everyone!

MAKING MASKS

Happy Palm Sunday my friends. I spent today making some masks. I had some black crow fabric so I made one for myself.

HOME MADE BREAD

Made some home made bread today. It was the only thing I needed, so instead of going out the store, I made my own. I hope everyone is staying safe during these trying times. Stay home and if you have to go out, make sure you practice social distancing.

A SPECIAL BIRTHDAY DINNER

Tonight I made a special dinner for my Husband. His favourite. Steak with mushrooms and onions, sour dough bread and a glass of red wine. He really enjoyed it.

DYEING FOR SPRING

Good afternoon everyone. I just can't wait for Spring to get here and get the Shop open for the season.

I thought Blue would a great colour to Dye for this month as everyone seems to have the Winter Blues this month. This should cheer me up.

VALENTINES

I came from work tonight and this was waiting for me from my sweet husband. They smell wonderful and they are beautiful.

A SPECIAL GIRL'S BIRTHDAY

Today is Kit's 11th Birthday. A few grey hairs around her face, but she is cuter than ever.

Happy Groundhog day everyone. So happy the critter didn't see his shadow so we can expect an early Spring! I decorated my kitchen table with some Valentines hearts that I made and put them in my old wooden bowl.

Good day friends. I was commissioned to design an add for the Open House for an Antique shop in Indiana. So if you are in the area, you might want to check it out. Sounds like they have a nice shop. I really enjoying designing this add featuring their 2 cats.

NEW YEARS' EVE

The table is set with lots of munchies. DH and I will be enjoying all the goodies tonight. A cozy night for sure with the wind howling and the snow blowing outside. Happy New Year everyone!

CHRISTMAS

A GREAT DAY WITH FRIENDS

Had a great day today. I met these two wonderful ladies and we had a delicious lunch in Durham, Ontario and a great Amish restaurant called Pebbles. We have worked together for over 25 years and we have become good friends. Some may not recognize us without our cowboy hats on.
