AN EARLY MORNING WALK

As some of you know, I am a very early riser (4 am to be exact). We heat our home with wood and I have the 4 am feeding of the woodstove. I am out in the barn feeding the horses way before sunrise each morning. It is my favorite time of day. I also walk our dogs to our bush each morning just as the sun is starting to rise. I took a few pictures this morning as it was so pretty after the snowfall we had last night.
This is the spot in our bush where my cabin is going to be built. DH is building me a cabin in the spring. I will be helping build it too......Can't wait! I have ALWAYS wanted a little cabin in our bush.
This is a picture of the wood that DH has cut this winter.
This will be our firewood for next winter.
Louis our Australian Shepherd got into the picture also.
Another picture of the the wood pile.
DH has been busy this winter :)
Kit, our Jack Russell terrier playing in the snow.
I love this picture. You can see the dogs in the snow.
The clouds were starting to move out and the sun was starting to peak through.
This is Kit and Sydney playing. These two just love to play tag.
Full speed ahead!

    1. Lots of snow here Dawn and it has been snowing all day. Those big flakes of snow, I just love them. I will have to get another one of those Calendars from you like the one I got from you last fall for 2012. I just LOVE it. You'll have to keep one for me when the 2013 ones come in. I will be judging a show in Midland Mi.in September, but I hope I can get to your shop before then.
      Have a great week.

    1. Hi Gina.
The cabin will be a little getaway. DH and I will be able to have lunch back there when he is cutting wood and when we just go for walks. I have a little wood stove that we are going to put in it too. It will have a porch so we can sit out and admire the view. My sewing friends will going back there also on occasion and we'll be able to have dinner and do some hand stitching....there will be no Electric back there. We just won't be able to drink too much wine....don't know what I am going to do about a "Potty" yet :)

    1. Thank you Andrea.
I am really looking forward to it. I just noticed crocuses are starting to come up in my garden, so spring is just around the corner. Very unusual for my area. Then the cabin will get started.

    1. Hi Bebhinn.
Kit is having a great time. This is what she does twice a day, plays tag with Sydney. They just love it. Kit thinks she runs the whole farm LOL. We are enjoying her so much.
