We call these two horses "Two Peas in a Pod". Magic has been here for almost two years and the other horse is a standardbred mare that I recently adopted to be a companion for Magic after our Clydesdale mare "Dolly" passed away last April.
Her name is "Corey" and she is enjoying her new life tremendously. The two are now inseparable. I think they are enjoying growing old together. I was glad to be able to give her a home. They enjoy being out in the pasture all day from sun up to sun down, then coming in and enjoying apples, corn, oats and hay before going to sleep for the night in their cozy stalls. They are enjoying these cooler days.

ReplyDeleteHello Janet, loooove the horses, so happy they have you care for them. Beautiful animals, glad they have eachother to. Blessings Francine.
ReplyDeleteSo wish we could still be in the horse industry. I miss it so much. This is a lucky pair to have you to take care of them!
ReplyDeleteJanet, you have such a kind heart, so happy to hear you are giving this horse a home, they appear quite happy together. BTW, how's the cabin coming? Happy Fall, Julie.
ReplyDeleteHi, Janet. They DO look like two peas in a pod!! TWIN peas! Magic looks older with a bit of a swayed back - do you know how old he is? And how old is Corrie? I like how Magic has the blue halter and Corrie the red - to keep the girls and boys straight. LOL! They are very lucky to have you. BTW, Maysah is playing #3 on your playlist now - on the new Grand piano!! :-)
ReplyDeleteThey are both beautiful creatures Janet. They are lucky to have you & each other.
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful night~Becky
