HANDMADE QUILTED VEST

I have been a quilter for 15 years now, but have never made any quilted garments. Well here is my first! Our Quilters' Guild had a workshop on the vest, but I was in school and couldn't attend it, so a friend of mine, Mary, helped me make it. It was designed by one of our very talented members, Sandra Thomas. It was a lot of work, but well worth the effort. Thank you Mary. Mary was a great teacher. She also bakes wonderful pies.

  1. You did a beautiful job for your first garment piece Janet!! Love the colours. How thoughtful of Mary to help you when you weren't able to attend the workshop.

  2. I just love your version of the vest Janet. That green you used really livens it up nicely.

  3. Janet, what a great job you did on the vest. It's just lovely - great colour choices. Clothing must be a whole new ball of wax.
