RELAXING BY THE FIRE

Stan, Kit and I are spending an evening relaxing in front of a nice fire. We love our new fireplace.

HARVEST

The 2016 harvest is well underway. My husband has been busy this week combining corn. Hopefully he will finish up this week. I just love harvest time. I made a huge pot of home made Chicken Vegetable soup with home baked corn bread and had it ready for dinner last night when he came in for the evening.

ROOFING

I've been helping my husband with roofing on the drive shed. We started putting up the 26.5 ft sheets of steel yesterday and we just finished. Thank goodness. We are glad it is done. Now to finish the sides. Won't be a hard as the roof though. This is a picture of the second last piece getting screwed down.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING

This weekend is THANKSGIVING weekend in Canada. Wishing all of my Canadian friends a Happy Thanksgiving. We do have a lot to be thankful for.

A GREAT DAY!!

A great day today spent at Fanshawe Pioneer Village. My sister and brother in law were visiting this weekend. Great weather and not too busy there. We had a great time. Took some pictures of the day.
