I just finished quilting this huge gorgeous quilt today for a customer. It took me so long to do with edge to edge freehand feathers. It was on my frame for 2 weeks. I just loaded another one. Here is a picture of it, a great job Mary did piecing it.</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhIjmf8NN0X2mtc4QikuobAmD1FwZ2d7VYUwbsqyuIm8gDW7RS_1r5rK02e6XKg_oMPpX9HYjXMCWSjImk-u9GFTKRRMmrFnjKDokldSZfJLkKlmkVlZtxYgvmY9v9g_68AK4tgxztHPYg7mWcnkSBxdSV6OXhWPiEZ0y45USIBbMm9mgjmwtxfnQzOWZUP/s2048/MaryQuilt.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2048" data-original-width="1536" height="729" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhIjmf8NN0X2mtc4QikuobAmD1FwZ2d7VYUwbsqyuIm8gDW7RS_1r5rK02e6XKg_oMPpX9HYjXMCWSjImk-u9GFTKRRMmrFnjKDokldSZfJLkKlmkVlZtxYgvmY9v9g_68AK4tgxztHPYg7mWcnkSBxdSV6OXhWPiEZ0y45USIBbMm9mgjmwtxfnQzOWZUP/w547-h729/MaryQuilt.jpeg" width="547" /></a></div><br /><p><br /></p>Janet-Olde Crow Primitiveshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02398181651800596325noreply@blogger.com4tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1993981930102638368.post-13243070185051488542023-02-20T14:46:00.002-05:002023-02-20T14:48:11.303-05:00GUEST BEDROOM RE-DO<p>Good afternoon friends. Just wanted to post a couple of pictures of our guest room makeover. New floors, new paint, new beds and new lovely quilts on those beds. I just love how this all turned out. It is so cozy. Spent lots of time over the winter doing this.</p><p>I can't believe it has been since last September since I posted. I grew the huge blue pumpkin and the rest I got from a local farmers market. Love how it turned out.</p><p>I also made some home made tomato soup with tomatoes that I picked fresh from the garden this morning. We had it for lunch and it was delicious.<br />I hope everyone is enjoying this holiday weekend.<br />Blessings<br />~Janet</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj5xhnxFaJ8BbNQ4s7Q3TlhTIkWDekF22lNJR0svCNd2mpBYvz39vDSK8PnkE2lO5k_zBl28shlWYs-3Es1dghyFnJRKLonm1VSlI6wPCupANyC4hXQICt98knTtw48a0gU_8Mvx4sIZJZWFkgEjiRAjlafEdnYfNx5R6G4IrPURo4CmCSt2aggu7TRKg/s2048/Fall%20Centrepiece.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2048" data-original-width="1536" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj5xhnxFaJ8BbNQ4s7Q3TlhTIkWDekF22lNJR0svCNd2mpBYvz39vDSK8PnkE2lO5k_zBl28shlWYs-3Es1dghyFnJRKLonm1VSlI6wPCupANyC4hXQICt98knTtw48a0gU_8Mvx4sIZJZWFkgEjiRAjlafEdnYfNx5R6G4IrPURo4CmCSt2aggu7TRKg/w480-h640/Fall%20Centrepiece.jpeg" width="480" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgCO0EwDF1UpID9NWCc-_Gg4srzIoC1kb0cXSo_2NYwaPVgjFs1XrkE9rTLgZoOU3e8G23cntW6UI2aOED19H0rn01hFp2Lw4J1dpxt1Dtjbojrzy-skV2zReD8ItOMHiZOtgbNbCGqEkP0DBTTg0APxGHoUa8VcaHK34k-Y0MGM5iqY9Uy-AnfRBUxQw/s2048/soup.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2048" data-original-width="1536" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgCO0EwDF1UpID9NWCc-_Gg4srzIoC1kb0cXSo_2NYwaPVgjFs1XrkE9rTLgZoOU3e8G23cntW6UI2aOED19H0rn01hFp2Lw4J1dpxt1Dtjbojrzy-skV2zReD8ItOMHiZOtgbNbCGqEkP0DBTTg0APxGHoUa8VcaHK34k-Y0MGM5iqY9Uy-AnfRBUxQw/w480-h640/soup.jpeg" width="480" /></a></div><br /><p><br /></p><p> </p>Janet-Olde Crow Primitiveshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02398181651800596325noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1993981930102638368.post-89336566814174006132022-08-30T07:51:00.006-04:002022-08-30T07:59:22.510-04:00GOODNESS FROM THE GARDEN<p>Happy Almost Fall!!<br />My garden has been so plentiful this year with lots of tomatoes and peppers so I have been making tomato sauce all week.<br />This roasting pan went into the oven and was roasted, then blended and put into jars for the winter. Pretty hot and humid here today. We are expecting some rain later today and it is well needed. All the hay and straw is in the barn for this year.<br />I was out in my vegetable garden this morning weeding and spotted my first white pumpkin. So happy to see this. I love pumpkins and I love decorating with them.<br />I took this picture of it so you could see how big it is already. Have a great day everyone.<br />Blessings<br />~Janet</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgrK9X0Bd6zQorCiCc7fwvFGG00Tucv4t-Z80u3jLUIbmdIJ9b9XVge42RqvWrfIZBgBGSg0gBvhpXKXoPrwDoIl2DeCBpIBD51tMXJKF1c8HShIli3P4jt11Y7iFsUFtyODK6nfCUPIaiyQX5pFmOYm1gvNXwJ-hzNhwh0qY55k2mOdTzThW2huDEtuw/s1440/whitePumpkin.jpeg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1440" data-original-width="1080" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgrK9X0Bd6zQorCiCc7fwvFGG00Tucv4t-Z80u3jLUIbmdIJ9b9XVge42RqvWrfIZBgBGSg0gBvhpXKXoPrwDoIl2DeCBpIBD51tMXJKF1c8HShIli3P4jt11Y7iFsUFtyODK6nfCUPIaiyQX5pFmOYm1gvNXwJ-hzNhwh0qY55k2mOdTzThW2huDEtuw/w480-h640/whitePumpkin.jpeg" width="480" /></a></div><br /><p><br /></p>Janet-Olde Crow Primitiveshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02398181651800596325noreply@blogger.com5tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1993981930102638368.post-21073985635271898862022-07-15T08:54:00.002-04:002022-07-15T08:54:30.703-04:00GARDEN SELFIE<p>Good morning. I love the way it turned out. A new floor, new paint, racking and bins for storage. A quaint space for me to do my sewing where I can leave things to finish later instead of having to pack up and set it up again. A great use for a room that was just used for storage previously. Lots of work, but well worth the effort.</span></p><p style="text-align: justify;"></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiswgBcGAnzEb3unuzZFl_yTEFNQ_T_AmXlOSBZ6U6Pudnymy0_2rjEsZj4_DtIN7-hTf913H_4s_Ba41b1OFsBAqkKeWLfc78sfKPSsE__w11-GIvMiqUQjFg-01ogz83DYbNTc4ylJOP0/s640/antiqueRocker.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="640" data-original-width="480" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiswgBcGAnzEb3unuzZFl_yTEFNQ_T_AmXlOSBZ6U6Pudnymy0_2rjEsZj4_DtIN7-hTf913H_4s_Ba41b1OFsBAqkKeWLfc78sfKPSsE__w11-GIvMiqUQjFg-01ogz83DYbNTc4ylJOP0/w480-h640/antiqueRocker.JPG" width="480" /></a></div><p style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-size: medium;">Antique rocker in the corner displaying a primitive Santa and a Quilt</span></p><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgsPRp9jdY7KkaXtbTd9-r06q97glolmREV8rveL_0mX_1AgcT-bDiK_TChYeMlX2Zn1OnWB_xga6jtzP3xCNJFx8Cmp5Ut2N7YHGUiehUFzqOAK4_xGxoo7gI0W_TpqeCE2lmmJnA1c6bI/s2048/sewingTable.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2048" data-original-width="1536" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgsPRp9jdY7KkaXtbTd9-r06q97glolmREV8rveL_0mX_1AgcT-bDiK_TChYeMlX2Zn1OnWB_xga6jtzP3xCNJFx8Cmp5Ut2N7YHGUiehUFzqOAK4_xGxoo7gI0W_TpqeCE2lmmJnA1c6bI/w480-h640/sewingTable.jpg" width="480" /></a></div><div style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-size: medium;"><br /></span></div><div style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-size: medium;">Sewing table for sewing machine and cutting mat.</span></div><div style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-size: medium;"><br /></span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg0viKduQWQL7fAVddml5YPDxrTHWRrG3g182oVyBfvivit7vaMp0p8Ge3LtbAzOnpuARGEi0z2XQ_mlgpTN4YbS36-AwPf5gWeBaZVISVC5BC5vvC-A_KQC5PUzEfjyuDgI9Vvdc12PO_r/s640/storageBins.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="640" data-original-width="480" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg0viKduQWQL7fAVddml5YPDxrTHWRrG3g182oVyBfvivit7vaMp0p8Ge3LtbAzOnpuARGEi0z2XQ_mlgpTN4YbS36-AwPf5gWeBaZVISVC5BC5vvC-A_KQC5PUzEfjyuDgI9Vvdc12PO_r/w480-h640/storageBins.JPG" width="480" /></a></div><span style="font-size: medium;"><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;">Racking and storage bins.</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div></span><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjxlPHVZOGChjX4LRDgUIJiM141qtqAFp6k0lS8pShViTK_FnjeU3nObScO0YHPn0-tnlufJH5y9fXmHS7fksJfn36JV6R1g7iagsN3JLULWm_wDmMfMeLtVHLi9VYBuc3bfgx6CWWgwNNn/s640/Trunk.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="640" data-original-width="480" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjxlPHVZOGChjX4LRDgUIJiM141qtqAFp6k0lS8pShViTK_FnjeU3nObScO0YHPn0-tnlufJH5y9fXmHS7fksJfn36JV6R1g7iagsN3JLULWm_wDmMfMeLtVHLi9VYBuc3bfgx6CWWgwNNn/w480-h640/Trunk.JPG" width="480" /></a><br /><span style="text-align: justify;"><br /></span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><span style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: medium;">Antique Trunk for storing fabric.</span></span></div><p></p><p style="text-align: justify;"></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhLm10sZOT3dUoW4qVdMnJItDvAzhzWX2AHcuBwUOdZFzGIlwJ5C8nJ0V4W0e8N-WFEHGNdeFFZEzwMpZVLAnxY-8cK01SHHPboTbidE5tLnEuGjzbuDA4wo1KC8DqSDEVrskfpnwBmt-aV/s480/sign.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="397" data-original-width="480" height="530" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhLm10sZOT3dUoW4qVdMnJItDvAzhzWX2AHcuBwUOdZFzGIlwJ5C8nJ0V4W0e8N-WFEHGNdeFFZEzwMpZVLAnxY-8cK01SHHPboTbidE5tLnEuGjzbuDA4wo1KC8DqSDEVrskfpnwBmt-aV/w640-h530/sign.jpg" width="640" /></a></div><br /><div style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-size: medium;">My new sign. Today my husband and I put some new hardwood floors down. We started this morning at 9 and we joked about having it finished by noon and we did just that. And we even took a break. He put the flooring down and I did the sawing and fetching. I must have gone up and down the stairs about 50 times. Good job I had my knee brace on. I went to Lowes and got some quarter round and we thought we would get that on before we seized up. Tomorrow I'll paint the quarter round. Then I can move my shelving, table and ironing board in there. It will be so nice to have somewhere to leave my ironing board set up and my sewing machine. I just love the way it turned out. I did a lot of purging before I could do this. Lots of things went to Charity. Let someone else make use of something I no longer need or use. </span></p><p style="text-align: justify;"></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh_xyKL6tBnqBZG5ix5c7qqbGxyZIHCPMmBv6c4Kbcyllj3G_4mSIKZUganGqaBNIax4fRT-ZDCNe9PCyk8fRXyYQQy4bZQvtG9qABAojvCn4OLkcAFIUMsbAitNxXR9z8yAv48HjO5Gxx6/s2048/FloorStart.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="Starting putting the flooring down." border="0" data-original-height="2048" data-original-width="1536" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh_xyKL6tBnqBZG5ix5c7qqbGxyZIHCPMmBv6c4Kbcyllj3G_4mSIKZUganGqaBNIax4fRT-ZDCNe9PCyk8fRXyYQQy4bZQvtG9qABAojvCn4OLkcAFIUMsbAitNxXR9z8yAv48HjO5Gxx6/w480-h640/FloorStart.jpg" width="480" /></a></div><p style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-size: large;">Starting to put the flooring down.</span></p><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiLw54gGW6THkKWf8C9I-m4rmFKheT-4QNqLN01f0TkDlmdPZrIo0PGFl_5g7L4IZ2fA6Mx2x7LPO7IWdMAN1tCfcNKAVtyZ48zY-TQM7Y2P-WN7jSo5gARLHplHUazTCGiyJ8XMoKt7AHW/s701/FloorDone.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="701" data-original-width="526" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiLw54gGW6THkKWf8C9I-m4rmFKheT-4QNqLN01f0TkDlmdPZrIo0PGFl_5g7L4IZ2fA6Mx2x7LPO7IWdMAN1tCfcNKAVtyZ48zY-TQM7Y2P-WN7jSo5gARLHplHUazTCGiyJ8XMoKt7AHW/w480-h640/FloorDone.jpg" width="480" /></a></div><br /><div style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-size: large;">The finished floor.</span></div><p></p>Janet-Olde Crow Primitiveshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02398181651800596325noreply@blogger.com4tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1993981930102638368.post-69990718504959210412021-11-02T18:29:00.005-04:002021-11-02T18:35:05.809-04:00THE GENERAL<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: medium;">Just finished quilting this quilt today. It is pieced with French General fabrics, so I have named the quilt "THE GENERAL" I quilted it with an all over free hand design of scattered feathers and swirls. I love how it turned out. Lots of texture in the quilting. Red is my favourite colour. I actually tea dyed all the fabrics to tone it down a bit and the effect was amazing. This is mine and I will treasure it. I have been pretty busy quilting customer quilts, but I snuck this one in just to get it done.</span></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj9QnOnpsoneTyT5po1fEqpIQ_MKALVn3PpdB7r5AKAN9NmkVvfJUeb3G31FRP35MinG1BqE9-zd9OtakouLM9XM0D6byW43HI2kjm6GlhaXygQ25h5nAMs7M9GMuPznepTnSe7aGJ9MGeR/s2048/GeneralOne.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2048" data-original-width="1536" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj9QnOnpsoneTyT5po1fEqpIQ_MKALVn3PpdB7r5AKAN9NmkVvfJUeb3G31FRP35MinG1BqE9-zd9OtakouLM9XM0D6byW43HI2kjm6GlhaXygQ25h5nAMs7M9GMuPznepTnSe7aGJ9MGeR/w480-h640/GeneralOne.jpg" width="480" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjyo5j9_srVjU4DTvL4GKOEGnLAE2u5e-lcyjulobu1cG9mCs1e6YLRCdl5TTyy9UKEFoL7epzVfMfcD-gWxkE3a54oFVg7mhpNIqvWVnOpgIeFjzR-cqcvxp-wQztsJZ1eRlRCWnMAUsGS/s2048/GeneralTwo.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2048" data-original-width="1536" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjyo5j9_srVjU4DTvL4GKOEGnLAE2u5e-lcyjulobu1cG9mCs1e6YLRCdl5TTyy9UKEFoL7epzVfMfcD-gWxkE3a54oFVg7mhpNIqvWVnOpgIeFjzR-cqcvxp-wQztsJZ1eRlRCWnMAUsGS/w480-h640/GeneralTwo.jpg" width="480" /></a></div><br /><p><br /></p>Janet-Olde Crow Primitiveshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02398181651800596325noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1993981930102638368.post-31557488522885695902021-10-27T12:51:00.004-04:002021-10-27T12:51:44.087-04:00A TRUE STATEMENT<p></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgPWGQKZyVTHPEIbU4e6C0_mXdDSXxJp1SZ6Ornhmm23MhNgUiaFbJFx2H7v1f7ethdm2GRl3hMUyDPal_phtqIbOKMe2XAKq6BS_BNE6_dwF7_L2EGXgJkuwl07-leaziGpl5Rs9YKeOG-/s640/marg.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="640" data-original-width="512" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgPWGQKZyVTHPEIbU4e6C0_mXdDSXxJp1SZ6Ornhmm23MhNgUiaFbJFx2H7v1f7ethdm2GRl3hMUyDPal_phtqIbOKMe2XAKq6BS_BNE6_dwF7_L2EGXgJkuwl07-leaziGpl5Rs9YKeOG-/w512-h640/marg.jpg" width="512" /></a></div><br /> <p></p>Janet-Olde Crow Primitiveshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02398181651800596325noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1993981930102638368.post-75004638175238465532021-09-26T12:20:00.003-04:002021-09-26T12:20:26.986-04:00TOMATO HARVEST<p>Happy Sunday. I left on Friday to go and judge a wonderful horse show. It was a big show and a great show with lots of gorgeous horses to judge. Long hours of judging. Saturday the show started at 8 am and finished at 11 pm. 15 hours of judging and I was so tired. Alberta is 2 hours behind us, so that was like 1 am Ontario time. I am in bed at 8 pm each night, so it was hard to stay alert until that time of night. Sunday was a 10 hour day so that was a little better. I am so glad to be home. I don't like flying and the flights were long. 4 hours each way and all the waiting time in airports, no thank you. A little bit of rain this morning, but that's ok. I can get a break from watering and hoeing today. My garden keeps me pretty busy, but I just love being out there early in the morning. Here are a few shots of my sunflowers. My broccoli is coming along too and I love cream of broccoli soup, so in a couple of weeks it will be ready to harvest some. I made carrot ginger soup the other day with carrots from the garden and it was so good. I love the month of August when the insect sounds change and the evenings get nice and cool and the windows can be opened at night. I hope you all have a great weekend.</span></div><span style="font-size: medium;"><div style="text-align: justify;">Blessings</div><div style="text-align: justify;">~Janet</div></span><br /><p></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiXd3YceERCxD4nyAx1E9Dxe_wgKRJicMsvB843DZlj2q7i0DxQXkD7Ft5qfXblHZj-qPcH3mdi4soJH3DvnQew2fz_cpapdFNQFd9R0Ed6gvMCGLJoGPTcF2cM6t_E5AR3Udi6CM4M0TtP/s2048/brocOne.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2048" data-original-width="1536" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiXd3YceERCxD4nyAx1E9Dxe_wgKRJicMsvB843DZlj2q7i0DxQXkD7Ft5qfXblHZj-qPcH3mdi4soJH3DvnQew2fz_cpapdFNQFd9R0Ed6gvMCGLJoGPTcF2cM6t_E5AR3Udi6CM4M0TtP/w480-h640/brocOne.jpg" width="480" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjl9ggjkN3Bsn6p3aoekDE_xy2OATrGWOJd28vAVWNBU8Pu6u0h5ncFSaHt0rJvoazUinIshwE8fqt6d_GEbfA9aC-acgZCF9j1k1M6rx35Xu3ANbR7DcGLBKpIpnTwZmjkm7ZBZ16N3kX6/s2048/sunTwo.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2048" data-original-width="1536" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjl9ggjkN3Bsn6p3aoekDE_xy2OATrGWOJd28vAVWNBU8Pu6u0h5ncFSaHt0rJvoazUinIshwE8fqt6d_GEbfA9aC-acgZCF9j1k1M6rx35Xu3ANbR7DcGLBKpIpnTwZmjkm7ZBZ16N3kX6/w480-h640/sunTwo.jpg" width="480" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjU1k6CqvZbQIjK29KcWivcz9ABVNnO6rzqbzP6bQdqcJJNaIOK22uqKTrLqunwIPq16ZmHUEALt0sXAdSnI25Wh4bqb4Gn1EYA2RAvsoQTx4H6CaXrPL9Q0OucwNePMBn_0HvkSr8JRMUv/s2048/sunThree.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2048" data-original-width="1536" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjU1k6CqvZbQIjK29KcWivcz9ABVNnO6rzqbzP6bQdqcJJNaIOK22uqKTrLqunwIPq16ZmHUEALt0sXAdSnI25Wh4bqb4Gn1EYA2RAvsoQTx4H6CaXrPL9Q0OucwNePMBn_0HvkSr8JRMUv/w480-h640/sunThree.jpg" width="480" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgCEB-NGBsDb_EvbythP1_qujMBMw37xnsgo-RPOm7hNuQePjIcPmpYN6IvSl1s_CpoCHB27LvTAZZtAy93l_9mzixudaFq-l4IHsfIaXkEf8NfR7cn9-ovzFVwSSlRISOIfTbNO914_93F/s2048/sunOne.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2048" data-original-width="1536" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgCEB-NGBsDb_EvbythP1_qujMBMw37xnsgo-RPOm7hNuQePjIcPmpYN6IvSl1s_CpoCHB27LvTAZZtAy93l_9mzixudaFq-l4IHsfIaXkEf8NfR7cn9-ovzFVwSSlRISOIfTbNO914_93F/w480-h640/sunOne.jpg" width="480" /></a></div><br />Janet-Olde Crow Primitiveshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02398181651800596325noreply@blogger.com5tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1993981930102638368.post-41404411987657348792021-08-03T11:06:00.006-04:002021-08-03T11:08:09.428-04:00CROW WREATH<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: medium;">I love August and it always gets me thinking of Fall. A beautiful day today, no humidity for a change. Lots of quilting going on and gardening in between. My Sunflowers are growing like monsters this year. They are taller than me. So happy with them. A great week spent going on a quilt shop road trip with 2 friends and a delicious lunch at an Amish restaurant consisting of Perch, mashed potato, carrots, coleslaw, home made bread and butter and caramel cream pie for desert. Such a treat after being confined for a year and a half.</span></p><p style="text-align: justify;"></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhDLK_XTaBid1Y5Ds-NI-wVuiZ2sTvSTiyDdzM3Psi1L1KMlWNDPG8HU6fkJozidWX15ZmYqe65h-EOr37Olh4KKkY4HxVyPoYTKf4FLqWv9rEfCh6G08qAQrvVt9xq2L4qD4KL0xqOXTHC/s2048/sunflowersOne.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2048" data-original-width="1536" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhDLK_XTaBid1Y5Ds-NI-wVuiZ2sTvSTiyDdzM3Psi1L1KMlWNDPG8HU6fkJozidWX15ZmYqe65h-EOr37Olh4KKkY4HxVyPoYTKf4FLqWv9rEfCh6G08qAQrvVt9xq2L4qD4KL0xqOXTHC/w480-h640/sunflowersOne.jpg" width="480" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEie9R89pRh-JfkuDrKY18PLvBvQEb5UpGa0p1iM0zUeRms50M-1oP5xIKElc3niOaCfzIb6TCTryMwD8-Y_-laBAI-IEgkR_sKuU8S7wSG1gCmeMqVzFBHMV1CQ3Q9Nx0KFAt410gJGOH6E/s2048/sunflowersTwo.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2048" data-original-width="1536" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEie9R89pRh-JfkuDrKY18PLvBvQEb5UpGa0p1iM0zUeRms50M-1oP5xIKElc3niOaCfzIb6TCTryMwD8-Y_-laBAI-IEgkR_sKuU8S7wSG1gCmeMqVzFBHMV1CQ3Q9Nx0KFAt410gJGOH6E/w480-h640/sunflowersTwo.jpg" width="480" /></a></div><br /><span style="font-size: medium;"><br /></span><p></p>Janet-Olde Crow Primitiveshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02398181651800596325noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1993981930102638368.post-33089221616202734572021-07-21T17:15:00.002-04:002021-07-21T17:15:54.797-04:00AUTUMN QUILT<p><span style="font-size: medium;">I just finished quilting this gorgeous quilt this morning. It is a customer's quilt. She did an amazing job of choosing the colours and piecing it. I love the way the sunshine makes it sparkle and shows off the quilting texture! It was a pleasure to quilt. It reminds me of Autumn. I just wish it was mine.......I just might have to make myself one. It sure was a big quilt. It measures 100 x 106..WOW.</span></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjNWKR7AcB4ylEEWLeVy9I-_fWN0gpF4jaPV0UYRBU19rfnrEbNVD9Bt_gGlT5berBofviM5nqACwOi4YIY1YmaaAnGTJL6elgtrdwg_G0hN027BcAqY3ZspM2suAX5Acm6s2THMFcxdyN8/s600/fallQuiltOne.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="600" data-original-width="450" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjNWKR7AcB4ylEEWLeVy9I-_fWN0gpF4jaPV0UYRBU19rfnrEbNVD9Bt_gGlT5berBofviM5nqACwOi4YIY1YmaaAnGTJL6elgtrdwg_G0hN027BcAqY3ZspM2suAX5Acm6s2THMFcxdyN8/w480-h640/fallQuiltOne.jpg" width="480" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiJs4YfoHzYG9T7xCpDpRlrKEbaNjgI6ccBs2BmcZWx95morzVY2XMOZK4wjHao4VgmQwATUgaIwYF-RDPPQiOsqDjDNuEwqv69iGQf6HcCHLmGHovUyoRWKXEqLDCZZlccI2I7L3NC5Ak_/s2048/fallQuiltThree.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2048" data-original-width="1536" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiJs4YfoHzYG9T7xCpDpRlrKEbaNjgI6ccBs2BmcZWx95morzVY2XMOZK4wjHao4VgmQwATUgaIwYF-RDPPQiOsqDjDNuEwqv69iGQf6HcCHLmGHovUyoRWKXEqLDCZZlccI2I7L3NC5Ak_/w480-h640/fallQuiltThree.jpg" width="480" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgcZCBLcUxDHbXLzZRkW_57AMFfaR9JTp0eq1NHL-48ZxL3_I_IPi1MnDA402ZYQkYh2IdG9xyfO8VIXFuWjxwXVX-B0KteEqWwx3sezwZemanAdsCVCUK1vRsBlGdswxMIp5jH6b2IDyAO/s2048/fallQuiltTwo.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2048" data-original-width="1536" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgcZCBLcUxDHbXLzZRkW_57AMFfaR9JTp0eq1NHL-48ZxL3_I_IPi1MnDA402ZYQkYh2IdG9xyfO8VIXFuWjxwXVX-B0KteEqWwx3sezwZemanAdsCVCUK1vRsBlGdswxMIp5jH6b2IDyAO/w480-h640/fallQuiltTwo.jpg" width="480" /></a></div><br /><p><br /></p>Janet-Olde Crow Primitiveshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02398181651800596325noreply@blogger.com4tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1993981930102638368.post-88563790289679929742021-07-11T07:27:00.002-04:002021-07-11T07:27:16.665-04:00FLOWERS<p></p><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: large;">Happy Sunday!! Well I thought I would be able to get outside and do some more gardening today, but the weather had a different idea. We are getting some rain and we are supposed to get rain all of this week. The second cut of hay needs to be cut and the wheat needs to come off, but not until the weather co-operates. I spent all day yesterday outside gardening as the weather was perfect for it, cloudy and in the 70's and no wind. We had a bonfire last night. It was so nice sitting by fire having a nice glass of wine. The fire was just mesmerizing. I need to get some of my hydrangeas cut and hang them to dry. It is so nice this time of year to have fresh cut flowers from the garden. </span></div><span style="font-size: medium;"><div style="text-align: justify;">Hoping you all have a great day!</div><div style="text-align: justify;">Blessings</div><div style="text-align: justify;">~Janet</div></span><p></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgv0QGJxno3mnJa-_lSLje3POOYQAdNvPQZCEkBWflI0ywF1n2g4M_6IRTnpo3MGpk-4K8sXtk-S2NkXzkGXo9d4VDAUZ2upvTsbdsb_Xkwgzgy6mVEHwZTDhBAdUIjrQGG7gxGMokOgV8u/s960/flowers.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="960" data-original-width="720" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgv0QGJxno3mnJa-_lSLje3POOYQAdNvPQZCEkBWflI0ywF1n2g4M_6IRTnpo3MGpk-4K8sXtk-S2NkXzkGXo9d4VDAUZ2upvTsbdsb_Xkwgzgy6mVEHwZTDhBAdUIjrQGG7gxGMokOgV8u/w480-h640/flowers.jpg" width="480" /></a></div><br /><p><br /></p>Janet-Olde Crow Primitiveshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02398181651800596325noreply@blogger.com4tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1993981930102638368.post-64185196583252180662021-07-04T13:59:00.002-04:002021-07-04T13:59:21.986-04:00GARDEN SALAD<p>Happy Sunday! We sure got a lot of rain overnight. 2 !/2 inches and it is still raining today.<br />I am hoping to get caught up on quilting customer quilts that I have a pile of. No sooner they go out and more come in. I just hope I get some time to quilt some of my own, I have 3 of my own to get done. I am hoping to get my shop back open again this fall. I am sure missing it. I just got my second shot of the vaccine this week and it knocked the crap out of me. I was flat out for 12 hours. Fever, body aches, fatigue, you name it. So glad it is over.<br />Just thought I would post a picture of this quilt I quilted for a customer. It was one my favourites. The last picture is the back, she pieced it and I loved it. It can be reversed on her bed.<br />Hope you all have a great weekend.</span></p><p><span style="font-size: medium;">Blessings<br />~Janet </span></p><p></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEggrNF3zXClOvODu07kVc5vGAcGMdrrUi-wknvtc06UJDcjBOmm3uPMrQV50Z_Rv9yhEGe-jq-NzpfyFA_we-PyZSOFGWfxAOgodGFd7PoKYBEyYEGg0bXN_7OkFM2wzeLS_L2ADY0rfASd/s2048/IMG_1911.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1536" data-original-width="2048" height="480" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEggrNF3zXClOvODu07kVc5vGAcGMdrrUi-wknvtc06UJDcjBOmm3uPMrQV50Z_Rv9yhEGe-jq-NzpfyFA_we-PyZSOFGWfxAOgodGFd7PoKYBEyYEGg0bXN_7OkFM2wzeLS_L2ADY0rfASd/w640-h480/IMG_1911.jpg" width="640" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiWE4E02bOTyQgo4WM74nyYbtnuQQmHuhCNzTb95DfIUNPJ9ou4WCLP3o4fvDIxv9CMRclooSUcAKKboWWZjOwpKxoMUGCwNNj9SQOeYGlgLoxZBZf_p67tNCnGQFHjkH3gkKKdIa1cxorG/s2048/IMG_1912.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1536" data-original-width="2048" height="480" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiWE4E02bOTyQgo4WM74nyYbtnuQQmHuhCNzTb95DfIUNPJ9ou4WCLP3o4fvDIxv9CMRclooSUcAKKboWWZjOwpKxoMUGCwNNj9SQOeYGlgLoxZBZf_p67tNCnGQFHjkH3gkKKdIa1cxorG/w640-h480/IMG_1912.jpg" width="640" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiABiXYNLjjzo1MR9PqbJ4Ww53Gfpy17iduEqMPgfuqvEXDBnj9YoiZQKWVW-IRK7oqLNcjrunFORl5ewq6LPiM6NnEeVihXaXlS2AMiZ7kSd1Dmw43sIngbd9dpWMaqnTHu89GTtTScgGU/s2048/IMG_1915.JPG" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1536" data-original-width="2048" height="480" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiABiXYNLjjzo1MR9PqbJ4Ww53Gfpy17iduEqMPgfuqvEXDBnj9YoiZQKWVW-IRK7oqLNcjrunFORl5ewq6LPiM6NnEeVihXaXlS2AMiZ7kSd1Dmw43sIngbd9dpWMaqnTHu89GTtTScgGU/w640-h480/IMG_1915.JPG" width="640" /></a></div><br /><span style="font-size: medium;"><br /></span><p></p>Janet-Olde Crow Primitiveshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02398181651800596325noreply@blogger.com5tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1993981930102638368.post-1510632808999123332021-06-08T13:57:00.004-04:002021-06-08T13:57:21.956-04:00NEW FAMILY MEMBER<p><span style="font-size: medium;">Good afternoon. The clouds are rolling in and I can hear thunder in the background. Hopefully some much needed rain. We got our hay off yesterday so it can rain all it wants now.<br />I wanted to post some pictures of our new family member who arrived last night. He is making himself right at home and fitting in well. Coriander just loves him. It is so nice to have some colour back in the barn again.</span></p><p></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjyyDl5-kIz5fbTbMg7UDve5HUEMrp-rngL9HXV_Kim9414XpryLlPX2Xesz97Nz3yRce7_R1fAyYCvzvavfDztI8jTa_2I6SgHkLEa_9aA9FAeTCEeybXBJxFgil0ZWtnJNmaE1d8ViujM/s2048/MooseOne.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2048" data-original-width="1536" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjyyDl5-kIz5fbTbMg7UDve5HUEMrp-rngL9HXV_Kim9414XpryLlPX2Xesz97Nz3yRce7_R1fAyYCvzvavfDztI8jTa_2I6SgHkLEa_9aA9FAeTCEeybXBJxFgil0ZWtnJNmaE1d8ViujM/w480-h640/MooseOne.jpg" width="480" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhDrpBEggQvNTgCGpX0-2Dk9LKsclCncKT19NYvkJojeFRF1dJJtwZ0Sn8hTP-lx43Xa7FAyXRQWzz6ogBNbyfcoPwB3uRIiI3c7eQ6CAcJeHP9qhAHWt97xmT3Ccfx5_QZIatMJYZ6O3Ga/s2048/MooseThree.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2048" data-original-width="1536" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhDrpBEggQvNTgCGpX0-2Dk9LKsclCncKT19NYvkJojeFRF1dJJtwZ0Sn8hTP-lx43Xa7FAyXRQWzz6ogBNbyfcoPwB3uRIiI3c7eQ6CAcJeHP9qhAHWt97xmT3Ccfx5_QZIatMJYZ6O3Ga/w480-h640/MooseThree.jpg" width="480" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgOxVUJaYNd8Ibz3JjAn1UMKkbLVhR-IVZYCfcahWGaJPK_G-YMkxTkzwDZMJrh9qGQLuIs8fw0-uKMorkg6A5N2VvMW6iT0lnXJc5ZrIgQuyn5fHt2BemWoi8igY0EtacIlurCoALUpenT/s2048/MooseTwo.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2048" data-original-width="1536" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgOxVUJaYNd8Ibz3JjAn1UMKkbLVhR-IVZYCfcahWGaJPK_G-YMkxTkzwDZMJrh9qGQLuIs8fw0-uKMorkg6A5N2VvMW6iT0lnXJc5ZrIgQuyn5fHt2BemWoi8igY0EtacIlurCoALUpenT/w480-h640/MooseTwo.jpg" width="480" /></a></div><br /><span style="font-size: medium;"><br /></span><p></p>Janet-Olde Crow Primitiveshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02398181651800596325noreply@blogger.com2
