CURRIED PUMPKIN SOUP

I made this soup last night for our Sewing Friends dinner and I have had a few people ask for the recipe so here it is. I love this soup. They are calling for snow flurries tomorrow so it is definitely soup weather.

1 Cup of chopped Onion
2 Cloves of Garlic crushed
2 teaspoons of Curry Powder
1 Pinch of Cumin

HARVEST DINNER

Tonight I had my sewing friends over for dinner and we had a great time. On the menu was curried pumpkin soup, ham and spinach quiche, salad, appetizers, apple cider, wine and for desert we had pumpkin roll. I love getting together with these ladies. I took a couple of pictures so you could see their happy faces.

A GORGEOUS MORNING

Such a gorgeous morning to go for a walk with the dogs back to our bush. I just love this time of year, the smells, the colors, and the cool temperatures. I took a couple of pictures of some sights on our walk.
Our firewood for heating this winter.
Needs to split and stacked.

Kit loves to get into the pictures.

A GREAT DAY

It was a great day for the first day of having my little shop open. The weather wasn't the greatest but it was cozy inside the little Granary. Kit was all tuckered out after her first day of being the "Shop supervisor" I made her a little bed from an old grain sack.

A WINDY DAY

While standing at the sink doing dishes, I heard this loud crack and I saw our old tree come down. Thank goodness it fell away from the house or it would have been a disaster. More firewood for next winter.
