MEMORIES

I was looking at some old pictures and these ones caught my attention. A great day a couple of years ago at my friend Marg's home for lunch. Love these ladies.

CHRISTMAS GIFTS

I thought I would post a couple of my Christmas gifts. The basket was a gift from my sister in law and it is over 100 years old. I just love it.
I received some money from a couple of people and I bought this trencher with it. I have been a hunt for one of these for ages and it was delivered to me on Christmas day by some friends of ours. I cut some fresh greens to decorate it with and added a large gourd and some big pine cones.
Hope you all had a blessed Christmas. I did miss seeing some of my treasured friends this season, but hopefully I can get together with them soon.

CHRISTMAS IN THE SHOP

Good evening peeps. Today was a great day at the shop. It was great seeing so many customers.
This week the corn stalks and pumpkins went out and the spruce and pine boughs came in. It is starting to look a lot like Christmas at Olde Crow Primitives at the Granary. I took a few pictures around the shop.
You can check out the site at: www.oldecrowprimitives.ca
It looks like we are expecting some snow for this weekend. Keep warm.
I am also so very excited and humbled that I have been asked to design a cover page for the "Country Register" in 2016.
Blessings

A GORGEOUS MORNING

Such a gorgeous morning to go for a walk with the dogs back to our bush. I just love this time of year, the smells, the colors, and the cool temperatures. I took a couple of pictures of some sights on our walk.
Our firewood for heating this winter.
Needs to split and stacked.

Kit loves to get into the pictures.

A GREAT DAY

It was a great day for the first day of having my little shop open. The weather wasn't the greatest but it was cozy inside the little Granary. Kit was all tuckered out after her first day of being the "Shop supervisor" I made her a little bed from an old grain sack.

A WINDY DAY

While standing at the sink doing dishes, I heard this loud crack and I saw our old tree come down. Thank goodness it fell away from the house or it would have been a disaster. More firewood for next winter.

A GREAT WEEKEND

Just had a great weekend. My sister in law came down from Maynooth to help me set up my shop.
We had a great time and it looks wonderful. Here are few pictures.
Hope you all had a great weekend.

Candle cupboard I purchased in Ohio and I found the perfect table at my friend Gillian's shop, Pine Sampler.

Some plants outside the shop. The little heart is called a puddler and it was a gift hand made by my friend Earlene.  I love it!

I did some weeding and dead heading outside the shop today.
Yesterday we hung the crow.

GRANITEWARE

A picture of some of my graniteware collection.

A GREAT WEEKEND

I just had a great weekend. Spent Saturday working at the "Harvest at the Mill" show in Holly Michigan and then I spent the night at my good friend Earlene's home. I just LOVE Earlene's home. It has been featured in Country Sampler and A Primitive Place magazine in the past. It is just gorgeous, so many great primitives in her home. It was just so cozy. I just loved visiting with Earlene and her husband and of course her 2 lovely cats, they made feel so welcome. Earlene gave me a tour of her lovely gardens and they are just breathtaking.
On Sunday she took me antiquing and we visited a couple of lovely Primitive shops and her daughters Antique Mall. An unforgettable weekend for sure. I hope you all have a great week.
Blessings,
Janet
