CRITTER ADOPTION

3 comments:

  1. Heart warming and eye opening Janet. Sunday, I am participating in a feline fostering home class. Yes, I will open my home to mama cats and their kittens, however, my main interest is in senior cats. The cats that are in a state of shock due to the fact that their prior families "are moving and could not take them along." How you can abandon a 12-13-14-15-16 year old cat, a cat that has been in your family for that length of time is beyond me. I suppose to some people it's just a cat and to others a dear family member. Hope you enjoyed this spring-like day. Hugs, Julie.

  2. I & my son Sam visited an animal shelter four summers ago. It was so sad to see all those animals just waiting to be taken home or not. I reallly hadd to wonder if they knew their fate if not adopted. To have once been loved & then tossed aside. Just heart breaking. Blessings!

  3. Most of our dogs came from shelters ... And the ones that didn't were tossed out at my farms ... As with all 8 of our cats ...
Sad to think that animals are just that, to some people.
They are a BIG part of our life, always have been and will be. I can't even think of not having a dog or cat. As I'm typing this with my big golden boy on my lap.
    Thanks for sharing!
